Amy Silbergeld

AMY SILBERGELD (b. 1987)

is the author of the auto-collaborative novel Rainn (Freke Räihä Förlag, 2014) and the chapbook Rape Joke (Tired Hearts, 2013).

She has written for The Rumpus, VICE Magazine, Man Of The Hour, and the Reykjavík Grapevine, and HTMLGIANT. Her poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in Fence, Gertrude, NAP, Broad!, and elsewhere.

Amy is a graduate of Columbia University's MFA program in Writing. She received a BA with Distinction from California College of the Arts in Writing and Literature.

She lives in Manhattan, where she works as the Media and Communications Director at a personal assistant staffing boutique and as a private tutor.
